Introduction

The table tennis event at the 2025  SEA GAMES  took place at Westgate Hall (4th Floor), Central Westgate, Nonthaburi, Thailand. The tournament started on December 12 and ended on December 19, 2025. Singapore lead in medal tally with 4 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals followed by Thailand with 3 golds, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals.

Notable Achievements

Here are some notable achievements at table tennis event of South East Asian Games 2025

  • Singapore wins back to back gold medals in men’s team event winning 2023 and 2025 SEA GAMES
  • Thailand wins back to back gold medals in women’s team event winning 2023 and 2025 SEA GAMES
  • Philippines clenched first ever medal in women’s team event
  • Izaac Quek and Koen Pang back wins back to back gold medals in men’s doubles winning 2023 and 2025 SEA GAMES
  • Orawan Paranang and Suthasini Sawettabut wins back to back gold medals in women’s doubles winning 2023 and 2025 SEA GAMES
  • Ten years after first winning her first SEA GAMES singles gold medal in 2015, Suthasini Sawettabut is back on top in South East Asia after defeating Orawan Paranang in the finals
  • Izaac Quek become the 4th Singaporean to win back to back singles titles  after Gunawan Sutedja (1979 & 1981), Anton Suseno (1991 & 1993), Gao Ning (2007–2011, 2015 & 2017)
  • Izaac Quek remains undefeated in SEA GAMES and at only 19 years old is already a SEA GAMES  two-time triple gold medalist. He won all gold medals in men’s singles, doubles, and team event in 2023 SEA GAMES  and replicated it in 2025.
