Sora Matsushima is a Japanese professional table tennis player who was born on April 29, 2007 in Kyoto, Japan. He has represented Japan in big international tournaments including the 2024 Paris Olympics where he was a reserved player.
Matsushima came from a family with a table tennis background. Both of his parents played in the corporate league and his 3 younger siblings (Toa, Miku, and Aira) already plays internationally. Miku Matushima topped the U15 girls rankings in January 2026. All the Matsushima siblings are left-handed.
