Benyamin Faraji is an up-and-coming young Iranian table tennis superstar who was born on December 20, 2009 and started playing at age of five. He gained massive media attention in 2024 after beating world #1 Wang Chuqin 3 – 2 at the 27th ITTF-Asian Table Tennis Championships in Aztana, Kazakhstan at just 14 years old. The following year and at the same tournament, Faraji beat world #2 Lin Shidong 3 – 2.
