WTT Champions

The WTT Champions is another important tournament in the WTT series. It is a singles-only event featuring the top 32 men’s and women’s players. The champions receive 1,000 ITTF world ranking points. Sun Yinghsa has won the most WTT Champions tournaments (7 singles titles). The inaugural edition was held in Budapest, Hungary, in 2022, where Tomokazu Harimoto and Wang Manyu won the men’s and women’s singles titles, respectively.

China, by far, has the most WTT Champions titles with 24 of the 34 titles (70.5%) followed by Japan with 5 titles.

The top 32 men’s and women’s players compete in a 32-player single-elimination (knockout) format.

Tournament Prizes

Winners of singles event can earn between $40,000 – $60,000

Ranking Points

Players will get rankings based on what level they have reached in the tournament.
