The WTT Finals is a year-end tournament played in December. Winning players (champions) receive 1,500 points, which is the second-highest number of points awarded in any ITTF-sanctioned tournament. The first edition was held in 2021 and was called the WTT Cup Finals in the early editions. Wang Chuqin has won the most WTT Finals titles (3 singles titles).
Format
The WTT Finals features men’s and women’s singles events, with doubles and mixed doubles played in some editions.
Draws
The top 16 players compete in men’s and women’s singles. The top 8 pairs compete in doubles and mixed doubles.
Editions
There is only one edition held every year, at the end of the year.
Tournament Prizes
Each edition offers different prize amounts. The highest prize so far was $80,000 for the winners of the singles events and $14,000 for the doubles events, awarded at the WTT Finals Hong Kong 2025. The lowest prize to date was $40,000 for the singles winners and $8,000 for the doubles events, awarded at the 2023 and 2024 editions.
