Title: Bacolaodiat Table Tennis Festival 2024
Description: Celebrating the vibrant Chinese culture in Bacolod with an exciting
table tennis championship open to all enthusiasts.
Dates and Venue: February 6-7, 2024, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Ayala Malls Capitol Central Event Center, Bacolod City.

III. EVENTS, ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY – Events
A. Elementary Boys (Must be 12 years old or under). Limited slots.
B. Elementary Girls (Must be 12 years old or under). Limited slots.
C. Highschool Boys (Must be 16 years old or under). Limited slots.
D. Highschool Girls (Must be 16 years old or under). Limited slots.
E. College Boys (Must be 22 years old and under). Limited slots.
F. College Girls (Must be 22 years oled and under). Limited slots.
G. Invitational Executive 40 yrs. and above (Open to all genders, age 40 and above). Limited slots.H. Invitational Veterans 50 yrs. and above (Open to all genders, age 50 and above. Can also enter the Invitational Executive 40 yrs. and above event.). Limited slots.
– Eligibility: Open to all residents of Bacolod and outside Bacolod City.
– Entry Fees:
Events A to F – P100.00
Event G and H – P150.00

IV. REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
– Participant Details: Name, Club, Date of Birth, Age, Contact Number and Event (by Text or Private Message).
– Payment: Payment thru Gcash or on the day of the event.
– Proof of Identity: Photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate and School ID or Company ID (to be attached at the online registration form.)
V. TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS
– Compliance:
o The organizers/ host will have exclusive authority to govern, manage and run the tournament.
o The tournament shall be conducted in accordance with the current International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) rules, however, any unforeseen circumstances that may arise throughout the tournament which are not covered by the ITTF rules shall be resolved by the organizing committee.
– Equipment: Official Ball: DHS DJ-40+ (WTT Logo) – Plastic 40+mm., Tables: JOOLA, Stiga
Dress Code: Sports attire in line relevant to table tennis standards.
VI. COMPETITION FORMAT – Format:
o Preliminary Rounds (Events A to H):
• Structured into 8 pools (groups) with a maximum of 24 entries overall.
• Each match follows a Best-of-3 games format.
o Initial Phase (Group Stage):Players compete in a Round-Robin format within their respective pools.
The top two players (ranked 1st and 2nd) from each pool advance to the next phase. o Subsequent Phases:
Adopting a Single Elimination system from the 2nd phase through to the semi-finals. Only in the finals will there be a best-of-5 games format. o Bronze Medal Match:
The players defeated in the Semi-Finals face each other in a playoff to decide the 3rd position.

o Drawing of Lots: February 3, 2024 (via Facebook Live)
– Schedule: Starts from 10 AM on the first day, concluding with an awarding ceremony on the final day.
