Quadri Aruna had lost his battle but said he was happy he challenged WTT. He also paid $5000 fine imposed by him by WTT. This stemmed from his withdrawal from two major events last year due to illness and a scheduling conflict.

While the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) lifted their sanction after review, WTT maintained theirs, prompting Aruna to take the matter to the ITTF Tribunal. Despite the tribunal ruling in WTT’s favor, Aruna expressed no bitterness, stating on the Spin City podcast that he was glad he challenged the decision and hopes his case draws attention to the need for greater fairness and player representation in the sport.

I wish there was information about why Quadri Aruna lost his legal case against WTT. But since Quadri is okay with the decision, we might as well just move on.
