Wang Chuqin continues to struggle this year. In the 2024 Asian Championship, he lost 2-3 to 14 year old Iranian prodigy Faraji Benyamin.

Wang Chuqin did not look like himself. He doubled down his performance in the Olympics and China Smash 2024.

He rarely makes his counter forehand shots.
