Currently, the number one Southeast Asian table tennis player is Izaac Quek. He holds the highest ranking among Southeast Asian players in the ITTF rankings. He also won the Men's Singles event at the 2023 Cambodia Southeast Asian Games. His most recent victory, which solidifies this statement, is his win at the Olympic Qualification tournament in Thailand, where he secured a spot to represent the Southeast Asian region in the Paris Olympics.
