I strongly believe that table tennis is a more practical choice than pickleball for sports in malls, for several reasons:

  1. You can fit 3-5 table tennis courts in the space of 1 pickleball court, allowing more people to play in the same area.

  2. Table tennis produces significantly less noise from ball and racket contact compared to pickleball.

When space is limited and maximizing area efficiency is crucial, I hope major malls like SM, Ayala, and Robinsons will consider installing more table tennis courts.

Pingpong tables are also portable. If the mall needs the used space for other activities, they can simply fold the tables and move it on the sides.

Pickleballs court is painted on the floor. Table tennis leaves no footprint.

mikosan, not really. Just in the context of setting table tennis/pickle courts in shopping malls. 🤣
