Truls Moregardh achieved a career best of world #2 in the newly released ITTF Rankings.

This came out after reaching the semi-finals of the Singapore Smash 2026.

This is now the world top 5 table tennis men's player as of March 2, 2026.

3. Lin Shidong

4. Hugo Calderano

5. Tomokazu Harimoto

Rank #2-5 are closed to each other, separated only by less than 500 points. One tournament can interchange their rankings which is great from a competition standpoint.
