I really think the WTT Finals should be the biggest tournament — which would also mean the largest prize money and ranking points. Currently, it ranks only second to the WTT Grand Smash in terms of prize money and points.
The way it’s currently marketed positions the WTT Finals as a grand “finale” of the season. If it’s truly meant to be the grand finale, wouldn’t it make more sense for it to be the most important WTT tournament, with the biggest prize pool and the most ranking points?

I agree with all of your points. Currently, only 16 players compete in each singles event — that doesn’t feel very exciting to me. If the WTT Grand Smash is the equivalent of a tennis Grand Slam, what would the WTT Finals be in tennis terms?
