Masterful game by Simon Gauzy in the World Table Tennis Championships against Lin Gaoyuan . He mostly won his points by lobbing. Lin Gaoyuan don't really have that much power compared to his Chinese colleage so his a perfect target for someone who is good at lobbing.Â
Is Simon Gauzy the best lobber today in table tennis?

It won't be long  Lin Gaoyuan will be replaced by a young Chinese table tennis player. He is already 30 years old and he haven't win major tournament in recent years. I'm surprised he is still in the Chinese table tennis team.Â

The problem with Lin Gaoyuan is that he only uses short strokes on his shots. You can't generate much power that way.
