How to properly test blade and rubbers?

I want to know how you actually test blades and rubbers?

 

Cause I think its important to have the same blade when testing rubbers and same rubber when testing blades.

 

Like how do you know that the speed generated by a rubber is actually from the rubber and not from the blade?
