Hi,

I am newbie and been researching about blade properties and composition. I've read a term called "sweet spot" which refers to a blade characteristic which I don't fully understand. The question is simply, what is sweet spot in table tennis blade?

The simplest definition of "sweet spot" in table tennis racket is that area on the blade that gives the best response. Typically, its the center area of the blade. Its more obvious when you do a blocking drill. The best feel will be is when you hit the ball at the center and you would notice your efficiency go up high. That's also true when you doing at attack. The best area to hit it is in the center.
