We now have two ranking systems. One is determined by simply the number of posts (topic + comment) and by the number of points
1. Forum ranking by number of posts
A post can be a topic you added or a comment you posted. The sum of these constitutes the number of posts.
Depending on how early you accumulate a number of posts, you get badges inspired by names of rare gemstones.
2. Forum ranking by number of points
This is a weighted reward system that measures your activity in the forum. You get 20 points you add a topic and 10 points when you add a comment. You get 1 point every time you login to the website. We will add more way to accumulate points in the future. In other words, you get rewarded beyond posting and comment.
Depending on the number of points, you get rank names inspired military ranks in ancient Rome.
If it might be confusing, don't worry it would be clearer later on as you get more of these badges and ascend in miliary names.
