What is the difference between Dignics 09c and Tenergy 05 from Butterfly?
Dignics 09C is better suited for power shots because it is harder than Tenergy 05. Tenergy 05 is better suited if you you have a looping style of offense.Â
Dignics 05 has a harder sponge and is better fit for high impact shots. Tenergy 05, on the other hand, has a softer sponge and it better fit for control and looping. Tenergy 05 is also spin responsive which means that while it is easier to generate to spin, it also reacts to spins specially serves which can give problems sometimes if you have problems receiving serves.
Dignics rubbers series are faster than the the Tenergy series. The speed comes from the fact that Dignics series have harder sponges. Dignics rubbers are also more expensive. As of August 2024, Dignics rubbers cost (09C, 05, 80, 64) in the $80 range while the the Tenergy rubbers (19, 80, 64) are in the $70 range.
