Table tennis is a versatile and engaging sport that caters to individuals of all ages. Two players at their 60s are currently playing at the Paris Olympics

Zhiying Zeng will represent Chile and will be making her Olympic debut at the age of 58. Ni Xia Lian, on the other hand, will be making her 5th Olympics appearance at the Olympics at the age of 61 representing Luxembourg.

Isn't that amazing? They prove that table tennis is a sport you can still be competitive regardless of age.

Timo boll will be playing his last Olympics at age 43.

I think women can go a little bit longer because their pace is a little bit slower than men. I don't think men can still compete in their 50s - 60s  in table tennis in big tournaments.

Of course, table tennis is still a sport for all ages.

Ni Xia Lian has been eliminated in the Olympics. She lost to  Sun Yingsha 4-0 in Round 32. Zhiying Zeng has also been eliminated few days ago. Nonetheless, the table tennis community rejoiced to have the two oldest table tennis players  compete in the biggest event of the sport.
