I would love to see him play singles in Olympics and complete a Grand Slam but the odds is against him.

Historically with China, the TOP 1 and 2 play for the two spots for singles in Olympics. Currently, #1 si Fan Zhendong and #2 si Wang Chu Qin. So I think Ma Long will only play in the Team Event and probably just a third option.

Lakas ng line up ng China to even putting Ma Long just as a third option.
Right now at ITTF Busan , wala man lang maka set sa team play.
