Fan Zhendong will not be part in China Team in the upcoming World Cup 2025 in Macau on April 14-20.
The Chinese Team will be composed of Lin Shidong, Wang Chuqin, Liang Jingkun, Lin Gaoyuan, and Huang Youzheng.
Is Fan Zhendong retired/semi-retired?

Fan Zhendong is too young to be retired. He's only 28 years old. He still active as he still plays in the Chinese leagues. I would love to see play against a prime Wang Chuqin.

Not only him, but also Ma Long. Ma long still plays in the Chinese League. We all miss Ma Long and Fan Zhendong.
