Grand Smash is the most important event in WTT events. Winners will receive 2000 points in the ITTF Rankings, which is the highest point reward, equivalent to that of a gold medalist in the Olympics. How many Grand Smash events are held per year?

According to the official website of the ITTF, there will be 4 Grand Smash events per year.
In 2024, there have been two Grand Smash events that have already taken place: namely, the Singapore Grand Smash and the Saudi Grand Smash. The next one will be in Beijing , China that runs from September 26 - October 6 2024

There is supposedly 4 WTT Grand Smash per year but only 3 this year (Singapore, Saudi, China), and 1 Grand Smash in 2022 and 2023.
