The ITTF has announced that the 2027 World Cup will include men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles competitions. This will be the first time mixed doubles has been part of the event. There were also doubles competitions in the past, but only in 1990 and 1992.
This is the first time that singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events will all be held at the same World Cup tournament.
