How much points do players get when they win the World Cup? It looks like the Chinese players are really locked in this World Cup 2025 in Macau.

World Cup is a very important tournament. Winners (Champions) get 1500 points which is second most points awarded.
It has also massive viewership since it is one of the oldest table tennis tournaments. You can see how fully packed the venue is during matches.
And lastly, it is one of those tournament that can legitimately
called a player a "World Champion:

Love this post-finals interview. Hugo Calderano is very authentic. He poured everything in the Finals. Not winning a medal in the Olympics broke him but he's very happy winning the World Cup.
