How do you feel about that game?
I really thought Ma Long would win. He was ahead 8-4 in the 7th set.
He must have forgotten he still had a timeout. He was so ultra-focused that he probably forgot. It was 8-4, and then Lin Shidong won seven straight points to win it 11-8 in the 7th set.
It's the coach's role to call a timeout, but of course, they didn’t have one since it was a Chinese-versus-Chinese match.
Ma long had no answer last night with those backhand flips in the wide forehand and backhand area.
