What happened to the ITTF World Cup?

I checked on the stats on Wikipedia there are no events after 2020. Did the ITTF suspend it?

Yes. They suspended it along with ITTF World Tour.

 

They replaced it with what is now called  the World Table Tennis (WTT).

They want to commercialize it even further. Mas malaki na prize ngayon sa mga international tournaments
