No official retirement announcement yet for Ma Long, but he won't be playing in the WTT Finals in Fukuoka. Fan Zhendong also will not be participating, marking possibly the longest period of inactivity in his career. He hasn't competed since the Paris Olympics

It's the 2nd biggest in the WTT Series. Biggest is WTT Grand Smash, next is WTT Finals, then WTT Champions, and lastly WTT Contender.
