Hugo announced in his official website that he will miss the WTT United Smash 2025. Hugo cites " bureaucratic issues to entering the United States" as the reason for missing the event. He made every effort to obtain an emergency visa but won't make it time for the Grand Smash.

The event won't be the same without Hugo who have been making great runs in the last few months.Â

That's a true shocker. Hugo can't even play with his home continent.

That's disappointing for him first and foremost and also for the fans. It's his continent and will miss playing a very big table tennis event. But he made every possible legal way and we should respect that.
