Biography
Alexis Lebrun is French professional table tennis player who was born on August 27, 2003 in Montpellier, France. He started playing table tennis at the age of three and is the older brother of Felix Lebrun. The Lebrun brothers have a strong family background in table tennis. Their father and uncle were top French national table tennis players.
Lebrun quickly transitioned from from junior successes (including French junior titles in 2020 and 2021) to senior dominance by winning three consecutive French national singles championships from 2022 to 2024. His breakthrough included a stunning upset over world No. 1 Fan Zhendong in 2023, a bronze in men’s singles at the 2023 European Games, and major 2024 triumphs such as European singles and doubles champion (the latter with brother Félix), a WTT Contender title in Zagreb, and contributing to France’s silver in the World Team Championships. In 2025, he captured the Europe Top-16 title and reached a career-high world ranking of No. 8 in May.
