Richard Pugoy Gonzales is a professional Filipino table tennis player and widely considered as the greatest Filipino table tennis players of all time. He has won a total of 10 medals (3 silver and 7 bronze) in the South East Asian Games.
He is a defensive table tennis player who uses long pimples on his backhand and regular rubber on his forehand. He has defeated many top-seeded international players due to his unconventional playing style. As of October 2024, he is still active in table tennis and represented the Philippines in the 2023 Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia, where he won bronze medals alongside John Russel Misal.
