Biography
Izaac Quek was born on May 26, 2006 in Singapore. He is a professional Singaporean table tennis player. In his interview with 1 Play Sports , Izaac said he started playing when his parent picked the table tennis CCA for him in primary school.
He became world #1 in the U15 ITTF Youth World ranking in April 2021.
Izaac Quek won gold medals at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games in men’s singles, doubles, and team event. He repeated this achievement at the 2025 Southeast Asian Games winning gold medals at the same events. He also qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics at just 18 years old.
Quek has won 5 youth titles.

Most Notable Win
Izaac Quek’s most notable achievement came at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games, where he won the men’s singles gold medal by defeating Nguyen Anh Tu (4-) of Vietnam in the final — his first SEA Games singles medal. He also won gold medals in the doubles and team events.
Izaac Quek is the first table tennis player in SEA Games to become a two-time three gold medalist winning 3 golds (men’s singles, doubles, team) in 2023 SEA GAMES and then again in the 2025 edition.
At the Southeast Asian Olympic Qualifier, Quek defeated Phakpoom Sanguansin 4-2, securing his spot at the 2024 Paris Olympics at just 18 years old. This victory made him the youngest male table tennis player ever to represent Singapore at the Olympic Games.
At Round 32 of WTT Star Contender Lanzhou 2023, Izaac Quek beat top seed and olympic medalist Alexis Lebrun 3-2.
In the youth category, he reached the round of 16 at both the China Smash and Singapore Smash.
