No. Ma Long, Wang Chuqin, and other top table tennis players use what is called the "national version," which cannot be purchased on the market. The ones available for purchase are the "provincial" and the "commercial versions." While there may be dealers or online stores claiming to offer the "national version," there is a general consensus in the table tennis community that these are fake.

The top players are as we all know sponsored by different brands, Butterfly, Stiga, Tibhar and so on. Its a well known secret that the players now always play with their own brand but instead hide it. Olav Kosolosky who has played in the German league, team mate with players such as Darko Jorgovic and Patrick Fransiska has witnessed that some players use the handle from their sponsor while the blade itself is from another brand.

But in general I think we should de-mystify this both when it comes to blades and rubbers. There is no magic secret and the difference between the Hurricane 3 National and the sponge the national teams is using.. let me doubt that it is anything more than a extra quality check so 000,1% difference in reality..

After all if a table tennis brand would come up with something that really is better they would not secretly keep it for the national team. They would sell it.

@inyagan Interesting. The handle and the blade are from different brands.
