What shoes do you recommend for use in table tennis?

Avoid gum sole shoes unless you are on a rubberized/plywood/vinyl floor which is rare in the Philippines. I recommend using running shoes since most table tennis courts in the country are either in shiny cement or tiles flooring.Â

Agree with Roel and the main reason to use running shoes on concrete floor is injury prevention.Â
