I saw this on X today.Â
During the Asian Games 2026, a Qatari player named Maria Ali offered Sun Yingsha a cake but she refused. It was Ali's birthday and she asked Sun to take a photo with her with the cake. Sun agreed to take a picture but rejected the cake. There are a lot of reasons people came up in the comment section including Sun's taking safety precautions on doping allegations.
Despite this , I love how Maria Ali took the rejection with as smile

It's better to refuse it than to accept it and let it go to waste. If a 12-year-old kid offered it, it would be a lot more difficult, wouldn't it?
