Can you believe it? Benjamin Faraji beat Lin Shidong for the second time! This happened during the quarterfinals of the men’s team event yesterday, October 13, 2025, where Iran faced China. But this isn’t the first time the 15-year-old sensation has beaten Shidong — he also defeated him earlier at the Asian Championships.
What are your thoughts on this? Did Lin Shidong purposely lose to Benjamin Faraji to give him a confidence boost? lol

Nah. The kid deserves it. I think Benjamin has already reached the level where he’s still below most of the top professional players but good enough to cause an upset.
