I wonder how the Iranian national table tennis players are doing, given the ongoing war in the Middle East. None of them is playing in the World Cup that starts tomorrow, even though they always have representatives. I haven’t seen the Alamiyan brothers play in recent tournaments.

They are extremely talented players, but it must be tough for them given the current situation in their country.

Benjamin Faraji played in WTT Youth Star Contender 2026 while Noshad Alamiyan played at the WTT Contender Muscat 2026. So the Iranian players still active.
