In an interview with CGTN Europe last month, Swedish table tennis legend Jan-Ove Waldner revealed that there are 30 million table tennis players in China. That is equivalent to the entire population of Saudi Arabia.
With table tennis as their national sports, its almost impossible to dethrone China in the sports of table tennis.

I don't have to challenge the number JO Waldner mentioned, as it might even be on the lower end. 🤣Â
The actual number of people playing table tennis in China might even be 500 million? 🤣Â
Like every corner in China has a table tennis court in it. LOL
