Eljey Tormis and Althea Gudes from the University of Santo Tomas are UAAP Season 87 Table Tennis Most Valuable Players.
Eljey Tormis lead the University of Santo Tomas Men's Team in capturing their 31st UAAP title and their 1st ever 5-peat title. They beat the Ateneo Men's Table Tennis Team in the Championship Match Match 3-1.
Althea Gudes also lead the the University of Santo Tomas Women's Team as they beat the FEU Women's Table Tennis Team in the Championship Match.Â

Congratulations! Eljey Tormis and Althea Gudes are both from Cebu City. Eljey Tormis played at the University of Cebu while Althea Gudes played at the University of San Jose Recoletos.
I think they are both Rooke of the Year from last year's UAAP Season. Great to see them become Most Valuable Players this year.Â
